As some of you may know, Wild Leaf News began online in November 2007 and after hundreds of posts using a different platform I began to realize that I needed to step back and review what my original goals and objectives were as things had changed…and truth be told, I had changed.
My original goal was to build a site that offered simple solutions to sustainable, healthy living. The challenge was that the internet had become flooded with copious amounts of health and eco-information–all seemingly regurgitating everything else that was already out there. I didn’t want this site to become one of those. I also came to the personal realization that things are not nearly as complex or involved as they should be. Less truly is MORE and often the more simple and focused the information is, the better it is understood and adapted.
So, I got rid of my fancy header, my snazzy javascript, my gazzilion blog categories and all the other “eye-candy” things I thought made a website better. I rebuilt this site on WordPress with a clean, minimal style that I hope you find is easy to navigate and focused on the content–not the “flash”. I apologize to those in advance that like all the fancy stuff…What I want to offer here are tools, resources and information you can use that won’t get lost under all the other stuff.
Thanks for stopping by and I truly look forward to connecting with you.
Cheers!
Sean
